About Norland Avenue Pharmacy

Norland Avenue Pharmacy LLC opened its doors in the Summit Health Center in February of 2001 with four employees. From the beginning, Wayne and Wendy aimed to glorify God through business while getting and keeping people healthy through a blend of traditional and non-traditional treatment methods.

2001

Norland Avenue Pharmacy LLC opened its doors in the Summit Health Center in February with just four employees.

Settling In

Pharmacy staff completed training with the Professional Compounding Centers of America and began offering customized medications that weren't available anywhere else in the area.

2008

The pharmacy began offering free monthly seminars to educate and inform the public about specific health issues.

2009

The Norland Rewards program was introduced in February. By April 2011, more than 7,000 members had joined.

2011

The dispensing process was upgraded with a ScriptPro Robotic Prescription Dispensing System. This allows the pharmacy team to spend more time focusing on customers while the robot fills popular prescriptions.

2016

The pharmacy earned Accreditation from the Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board (PCAB). Norland is the only local compounding pharmacy to have achieved this Accreditation.

2023

Wayne took ownership of Carl's Drug Store in Greencastle, PA, the oldest running independent pharmacy in the United States.
